Remembrance Day

On Friday 9th November the children at Westwood school found out about Remembrance day. They thought about what we remember and why people wear poppies. The children then created their own wreaths which we took to the local war memorial in Jacksdale. We laid our wreaths as a sign of respect and to help us remember all of the soliders that fought at war.
