Around the World Club with Mrs Armstrong
Around the World Club has been running on a Monday after school. The children have been using globes and atlases to find out about different countries. We have been learning facts such as the weather, what food we could expect to eat, how we would get there and the languages spoken.
We have had a great time learning about the last of our 3 European countries and have ended our club by learning about France. We started by sampling some French food, namely croissants, jam and delicious French bread then got to work. We learnt how to say hello, thank you and goodbye before looking at the most famous French landmark-the Eiffel Tower. The children worked hard to represent the Eiffel Tower through their artwork and did a brilliant job.
