Design and Technology

At Westwood Infant and Nursery school we encourage our children to be creative and resilient learners, we use an exploratory approach to allow our children to develop different methods of creating products. We follow the teaching design of design, make and evaluate for our DT lessons. We evaluate our products to enable us to improve these next time.

During DT we take part in sewing, cooking and using materials, this is from Nursery through to year 2!
