I am the Chair of Governors, I am a therapeutic foster carer, and have an extensive experience of LAC and SEND. I am the link governor for: Looked After Children, Special Educational Needs, English as a Second Language and Safeguarding.
I do not have any financial or business interests in the school which I need to declare, nor do I have any relationships relevant to the school which I need to declare. I have no other governance duties at any other schools.

As the Head Teacher I am a permanent member of the Governing Body and provide a link between the Governing Body and the school staff. At Westwood we are always looking at how we can enhance our provision to provide the very best education for every child.

I am the Staff Governor and assumed this post on 1st September 2020. I started teaching at Westwood in September of last year and am responsible for the Reception class. My role is Senior Teacher within school and I am curriculum lead for English, PSHE, History and Geography. I am also Deputy Safeguarding Lead.

I am a parent governor and joined the board of Governors in September 2021. I have a daughter that attends Westwood school.
I have lots of previous managerial experience and a creative eye. I would like to continue to help with the school’s positive progress.

I have lots of school experience with over 20 years working as a Teaching Assistant, followed by working independently as a childminder.

Following the reconstitution of the Governing body during 2015 all Governors requested that they be invited to both the Finance, General Purposes and Personnel committee meeting and the Strategic Development and Pupils committee meeting so that there should never be an issue over being quorate.
