Meet the Governors

Jen Harpham - Chair Of Governors

I primarily joined the Governors to become as involved with my children's education as I could. I no longer have children attending Westwood but have remained as a Governor to support the School and support all children who attend Westwood Infants. The School has a brilliant family friendly feel to it, our small class sizes and extensive curriculum make Westwood a joy to be involved with. I currently work in a School Kitchen, this role also allows me to work with children and the two roles assist each other. I am the link Governor for, Head Teachers Appraisal, Safer Recruitment, Health and Saftey, Whistleblowing, Complaints, GDPR.

I have great respect for the Headteacher and staff and try to support them as best I can. As a Governing body we are always striving for the best possible start to the children's education so they are happy, content children who are confident to move through life enthusiastically.

I do not have any financial or business interests in the school which I have to declare, nor do I have any relationships relevant to the school which I have to declare.
