Dyspraxia

Developmental Co-ordination Disorder also known as Dyspraxia is a neuro difference that affects a person's movement and co-ordination.

People with Dyspraxia may find it harder to carry out physical tasks that require balance and co-ordination, such as riding a bike or catching a ball.

Fine motor skills can also be affected such as handwriting, typing or using cutlery may need more practise.

The diagnosis of Dyspraxia is usually made by an occupational therapist or physiotherapist via a GP referral.
